OPW Dublin Commemorative Sites
In this Decade of Centenary Commemorations, some of the most significant events of Irish and world history are remembered.
The Office of Public Works, on behalf of the people of Ireland, manages and operates sites which memorialise those who lost their lives in the conflicts of 1912 – 1922/3.
Four of these, Arbour Hill Cemetery, the Garden of Remembrance, Grangegorman Military Cemetery, and the Irish National War Memorial Gardens are located in Dublin. Open to the public, they provide the opportunity for moments of reflection.
