The Irish Astronomical Society have had to cancel the “Observe the Moon” night on Saturday the 16th of October 2021, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, due to the poor visibility weather conditions with cloud cover forecast for Dublin City that will obscure the night sky.

The Irish Astronomical Society hope to reschedule the event for a later date in the year.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Celebrate International Observe the Moon Night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Saturday 16th October 2021 at the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre.

Come and see the Moon close up, along with Jupiter and Saturn, through telescopes set up by the Irish Astronomical Society.

No booking necessary..  Suitable footwear and warm clothes should be worn.
