The following are details of any current and future scheduled road and gate closures in the Phoenix Park.
Wednesday 1st January 2025 – Tom Brennan 5K Road Race
Roads to be closed to vehicular traffic:
Chesterfield Avenue (Phoenix to Mountjoy) From 10.00pm on Tuesday 31st December until 11.30am on Wednesday 1st January
Ordnance Survey Road Wednesday 7.00am – 11.00am
Gates to be closed:
Castleknock Gate Wednesday 8.30am – 10.30am
Ashtown Gate Left Turn Only on Entry Wednesday 8.30am – 10.30am
Knockmaroon Gate will be closed from 11.00pm on Tuesday 31st December until 11.30am on Wednesday 1st January
Traffic Restrictions:
Access to St. Mary’s Hospital and Cara Cheshire Home is through Chapelizod Gate.
All roads and gates will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
