The following are details of any current and future scheduled road and gate closures in the Phoenix Park.

Sunday 9th November 2025 – Remembrance Run
Roads to be closed to vehicular traffic:
Chesterfield Avenue (Phoenix to Mountjoy) 10.00pm on Saturday 8th November until 2.00pm on Sunday 9th November
Ordnance Survey Road Sunday 7.00am – 12.00pm
Glen and Upper Glen Road Sunday 7.00am – 12.00pm
Furry Glen Sunday 7.00am – 12.00pm
Gates to be closed:
Castleknock Gate Exit Only Sunday 9.00am – 1.00am
Ashtown Gate Entry Only Sunday 9.00am – 1.00pm
Knockmaroon Gate will be closed from 11.00pm on Saturday 8th November until 1.00pm on Sunday 9th November
Access to St. Mary’s Hospital and Cara Cheshire Home will be maintained at all times. All roads and gates will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

Roads to be closed to vehicular traffic:
Chesterfield Avenue (Phoenix to Mountjoy) From 10.00pm on Friday 5th December until 11.45am on Saturday 6th December
Ordnance Survey Road Saturday 7.00am – 11.30am
Upper Glen Road Saturday 7.00am – 11.30am
Acres Road Saturday 8.15am – 11.30am
Gates to be closed:
Castleknock Gate Saturday 8.00am – 10.00am
Knockmaroon Gate will be closed from 11.00pm on Friday 6th December until 11.30am on Saturday 7th December
Ashtown Gate No Right Turn on Entry Saturday 9.00am – 11.30am (Except for access to Farmleigh House)
Chapelizod Gate Saturday 8.15am – 11.30am (Except for access to St. Mary’s Hospital and Cara Cheshire Home)
All roads and gates will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

From 10am Monday 28th February 2022, the North Road will commence a one-way system, in the City direction only.
